Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong construction scheduling background to support large-scale utility projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project schedules, integrating vendor schedules into a master project schedule, ensuring schedule compliance, and driving accountability across external vendor partners.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Primavera P6, construction project scheduling, and vendor management. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining schedule accuracy, supporting capital forecasting, and ensuring projects remain on track.

Responsibilities:
  • Receiving project schedules from contractors/vendors.
  • Reviewing schedules for accuracy and completeness.
  • Combining multiple vendor schedules into one master project schedule.
  • Tracking progress and identifying delays or schedule risks.
  • Meeting with vendors to discuss missed dates or poor schedule performance. Escalating schedule issues and communicating impacts to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining reports and dashboards in Primavera P6, Excel, SAP, and Business Objects.
  • Monitoring vendor resources and crew availability to ensure work can stay on schedule.
Must Have

Skills:
  • 5 years of project scheduling or project management experience.
  • Extensive hands‑on experience with Primavera P6.
  • Experience integrating and managing large-scale project schedules.
  • Proficiency with SAP.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel reporting skills.
  • Experience using Business Objects reporting tools.
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and enforce schedule accountability.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
