Key Ingredients

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Construction Project Manager/Estimator
• General Contractor Design/Build experience preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or similar
• Embodiment of the Shaw Construction values: integrity, service, teamwork, communication, and innovation.
• Competence in Word, Excel, MS Project, & Bluebeam;
  Autodesk a plus
• Organized self-starter with strong initiative and work ethic
• Analytical mind that enjoys problem-solving

Expectations

• Project Development Assist in business development and client presentations. Assemble costs, prepare proposals, and other tasks associated with project development. Act as a customer liaison to coordinate with subcontractors, municipality and governing authorities, and others.
• Total Project Management Manage financial aspects of the project including cost dissection, margin projections, and subcontract bids, awards, and invoices. Communicate with the owner, including responding to change order requests, invoicing, and coordinating finish selections. Procure permits and otherwise coordinate with municipalities. Manage design disciplines, project schedule, and shop drawing review and approval. Coordinate with your projects' Superintendent on all matters including safety, quality, and schedule.
  
  Provide a strong close-out process, including punch list completion and occupancy turnover.
• Special Projects as Assigned Other projects based on need and interest.
