About

The Role

We are seeking a Product Producer to support a leading U.S. retail brand known for its large-scale marketing operations, high-volume merchandise assortment, and robust omnichannel presence. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of product needs across photo and video production, ensuring accuracy, organization, and seamless coordination between creative, marketing, and merchandising teams.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at cross-functional partnership, and loves bringing structure and clarity to complex production workflows.

Job Description

As the Product Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing product-related operations throughout the creative production process for assigned business areas or campaign categories. You will serve as the central point of contact for product information, ensuring that all teams—from Creative to Merchandising to Marketing—have what they need to execute content effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of product needs for video and still production across complex business and campaign categories.
  • Understand product priorities, availability, and inventory status provided by merchandising partners.
  • Anticipate and resolve conflicting sample needs with proactive, creative solutions.
  • Serve as the primary resource for all product-related questions and issues across production teams, including stylists.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Project Managers, and Warehouse Leads to communicate product status and flag potential risks.
  • Attend style-outs, product reviews, and production meetings; gather samples, document missing items, identify risks, and build contingency plans.
  • Coordinate all product communication, prioritization, and documentation throughout marketing production workflows.
  • Act as a liaison across Marketing, Merchandising, and Creative to ensure product accuracy and alignment.
  • Provide on-set product expertise, supporting Creative and Styling teams with product usage guidelines.
  • Ensure product alignment across channels so shoots can leverage consistent samples and priorities.
  • Oversee product logistics including processing, packing, organization, transportation, and on-set unpacking for each project.
  • Give direction to Warehouse and Logistics teams regarding volumes, delivery timing, and storage needs.
  • Define and communicate storage requirements for large-scale campaigns.
  • Manage post-shoot product needs, including color separation, influencer usage, additional shoots, or carry-forward items.
  • Build category knowledge over time to strengthen cross-functional partnerships.
  • Maintain DPCI tracking during shoots to support accurate copy, e‑commerce shopability, and media planning.
  • Identify and implement ongoing process improvements.
