Content & Social Media Intern — Smith EMS
Location: Twin Cities, MN (Hybrid)
Hours: ~5-10 hours/week
Pay: $20/hour
Smith EMS is looking for a Content & Social Media Intern to help capture and produce content from the sporting events we cover across the Twin Cities. Our team provides onsite emergency medical coverage for hockey tournaments, football games, basketball events, and other competitions, and this role will focus on documenting that work through engaging short-form content.
The intern will attend select events to capture photo and video content, then edit that media into posts for platforms like Instagram and Linked In. Content will highlight our medics, showcase event coverage, and help communicate what professional sideline medical care looks like in real environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Capturing photo and video content at sporting events and tournaments
- Editing short-form video (Reels and short clips)
- Assisting with writing captions and preparing posts
- Scheduling content across social platforms
- Creating simple graphics when needed
- Organizing media files and maintaining content folders
Requirements:
- Located in the Twin Cities metro area
- Able to attend evening and weekend sporting events
- Comfortable filming and editing short-form video
- Organized, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
This role is ideal for a student studying marketing, communications, or sports media who wants hands‑on experience creating content for a growing company.
