AboutThe Role
We are seeking a talented, hands‑on UX/UI Designer to support ongoing digital and web design initiatives. This is an execution-focused role for a designer who enjoys the craft of creating thoughtful, polished digital experiences and can independently own well‑defined design work. You’ll work closely with a dedicated Product Owner who manages product strategy, priorities, and the backlog. This role is focused on bringing those priorities to life through strong UX/UI design within an established design system.
The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of UX/UI experience, advanced Figma skills, and experience designing consumer‑facing websites and digital marketing experiences. You should be comfortable jumping into an existing environment, understanding requirements quickly, and moving work forward without significant day‑to‑day direction.
- Execute UX/UI design for consumer‑facing web and digital experiences
- Take well‑defined requirements and independently translate them into thoughtful, polished designs
- Work within and leverage an established design system to create consistent digital experiences
- Create responsive, high‑fidelity designs in Figma
- Utilize Figma components, auto layout, variables, tokens, and other advanced functionality
- Partner closely with the Product Owner, developers, marketers, and other stakeholders to move projects from requirements through final design
- Apply strong visual and interaction design principles while maintaining established brand and design‑system standards
- Incorporate feedback efficiently and prepare designs for development handoff
- Participate in recurring weekday meetings, project kickoffs, reviews, and working sessions
- 3–6 years of professional UX/UI design experience
- Strong portfolio featuring consumer‑facing website and/or digital marketing work
- Portfolio case studies that clearly demonstrate your individual design contributions and decision‑making
- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variables, and tokens
- Experience working within an established design system
- Strong understanding of responsive web design, usability, visual hierarchy, and interaction design
- Ability to independently own well‑scoped projects without requiring significant day‑to‑day direction
- Detail‑oriented with a strong appreciation for design craft and execution
- Comfortable working collaboratively within an existing product structure where strategy and backlog ownership sit with a dedicated Product Owner
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
This is a part‑time engagement requiring approximately 20–30 hours per week. Candidates must have genuine availability during standard weekdays and be able to reliably participate in recurring meetings, project kickoffs, and collaborative working sessions. This role is best suited for someone who is intentionally seeking part‑time work and has the weekday flexibility to be an active, dependable member of the team.
IdealBackground
You may be a great fit if you are a mid‑level UX/UI, UI, digital, web, or experience designer who loves being hands‑on. You’re comfortable receiving established requirements, working within an existing design system, and independently turning those requirements into polished digital experiences. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who wants to stay close to the work and values craft, execution, collaboration, and producing great design.
