SUMMARY:
The Business Development Coordinator provides support to the BSC Business Development Professional along with supporting the activity within the Base Supply Center. This includes assisting with all aspects of in-store and online customer service, store maintenance, and shipping and receiving-related tasks.##
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries, quotes, and order processing.
2.
Manage customer accounts, including creating customer profiles, generating quotes, processing sales orders, billing, and handling payments.
3.
Research products using phone, internet, and other available resources to meet customer needs.
4.
Operate point-of-sale systems to process transactions accurately and issue receipts or required documentation.
5.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders received via email, phone, or online for shipment or customer pickup.
8.
Perform general housekeeping duties as directed by the Store Manager.
9.
Assist with product deliveries and support shipping and receiving operations as needed.
10. Maintain accurate records by tracking and filing purchase orders and related documentation.
11. Perform additional duties as assigned.## Qualifications## KEY
COMPETENCIES:
* + Detail-oriented with the ability to review orders and enter information at the highest level of accuracy. + Ability to keep calm and focused while dealing with a high volume of customer traffic. + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. + Solid computer skills working with e-mail, Microsoft Office, and an ERP system. + Ability to research vendors online and provide detailed quotes as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* + High school diploma or equivalent + Customer service experience in a retail environment is a plus. A track record of providing customer service that exceeds expectations. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications and with basic computing functions + Knowledge or experience with ERP systems preferred
** PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
*** This job requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 20 pounds
* Occasional bending and twisting.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing.
* Ability to sit for long periods of time.
