Customer Service Rep, Bilingual, CRM System
Position Purpose
The Customer Service Representative ensures customer satisfaction through effective service, strong relationship‑building, and sales support. The role engages walk‑in customers, coordinates with sales, drivers, and warehouse teams, and delivers exceptional counter and phone service in a fast‑paced office setting.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inquiries and complaints via phone, email, and in‑person, delivering outstanding service.
- Provide product information, resolve issues efficiently, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Engage walk‑in customers with counter sales support and collaborate with sales, drivers, and warehouse for timely order fulfillment.
- Process transactions in the ERP system, contribute to sales growth by identifying new opportunities.
- Uphold company values and compliance.
- Use bilingual (English/Spanish) skills to enhance the customer experience and expand reach.
Reports to the Branch Manager with no direct reports. Coordinates with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
Travel / Physical / Working ConditionsNo travel requirements.
Primarily sedentary role with occasional standing and routine computer use. Must lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
Requires clear verbal and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications- Proven customer service and phone handling experience with active listening skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms for order entry and cash transactions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team‑oriented, safety‑conscious mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales and identify new opportunities.
- Positive, motivated attitude aligned with the “Make Money and Have Fun” culture.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Able to pass background checks and drug screening.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Intermediate ERP skillset.
- Experience in B2B relationship management within building materials distribution is preferred.
- Proven sales and customer support experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Multitasking, prioritization, and time management.
- Proficiency in CRM and ERP systems for tracking and transactions.
- Effective problem‑solving and cross‑department collaboration.
- Strong product knowledge and interest in building materials.
- Other languages a plus.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret sales data.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- Minimum:
High school diploma or equivalent. - Preferred:
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in communications or business management. - Minimum years: 1–2 years of customer service experience.
Base salary $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Hourly associates may be eligible for overtime, performance‑based bonuses, commissions, car allowance, and reimbursement for travel expenses.
