Event Staff, Athletics - Temp​/Casual

About the Job

Gold Coats Event staff will serve as ushers or ticket takers at home Gopher events for any of our varsity sports. Ticket takers are assigned to a specific entry gate and monitor the authenticity of every ticket used to enter a University of Minnesota Athletics Venue. Ushers are assigned to certain areas of each facility to help provide customer service for fans attending our events.

They will help answer questions, provide direction, and help resolve any issues that arise over the course of an event. Ushers and ticket takers are essential to the overall game day experience for our fans.

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be willing to perform all job functions in the weather conditions present in an outdoor stadium as well as indoor venues
• Ability to work events that take place on evenings and weekends
• Willingness to work in the same location every game
• Relatable hospitality, guest service, or other direct customer contact experience with heavy emphasis on providing an exceptional level of customer service and satisfaction
• An energetic, positive, and self-motivated person

Pay Range: $15.25; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
