Southside Community Health Services (SCHS) is a mission-driven nonprofit clinic in South Minneapolis seeking a Dentist (DDS/DMD) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered dental care. This role supports SCHS’s commitment to improving oral health access through integrated, team-based care.

The Dentist provides comprehensive dental services within scope of licensure while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team. This position combines direct patient care with clinical leadership, documentation excellence, and adherence to SCHS policies and quality standards.

• Provide dental treatment within DDS/DMD scope, following best-practice standards
• Support integrated, interprofessional care and reduce barriers to access
• Maintain timely documentation, chart closure, and strong EHR/coding practices
• Participate in peer review, quality improvement, and risk management activities
• Support training, mentorship, and daily guidance of dental staff
• Complete administrative responsibilities, credentialing requirements, and full patient contact hours based on FTE
• Participate in staff meetings, committees, and clinic operations

• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to lifelong learning, equity, and SCHS mission/values

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school of dentistry
• Active Minnesota dental license and DEA registration
• Current CPR certification
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or Somali) preferred
