Role:
Licensed Dental Assistant
Responsibilities:Assist dentists with patient care, including chairside assistance and preparing dental materials
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment following infection control protocols
- Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in electronic health records
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting course
- Active Minnesota Licensed Dental Assistant (LDA) credential
- DANB certification or equivalent state qualification
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in oral and written English communication
Support patient care, assist with X-rays, provide oral health education, maintain infection control, and document treatments to facilitate quality dental services in a patient-focused environment.
