We are seeking a talented Interior Designer:
Level II to join our growing Interior Design team. This role contributes to space planning, design development, material and furniture selections, and the preparation of construction documentation for commercial interior projects, primarily with the workplace and portfolio services team. The ideal candidate brings creativity, technical skill, and experience managing project components with moderate complexity. You will work both independently and collaboratively with senior design leadership and other project team members.
You’ll Do
- Develop design concepts, color/finish palettes, and furniture selections in collaboration with Senior Interior Designers
- Assist with client programming, space planning, and schematic design
- Conduct site verification and assist in developing adjacency diagrams, block plans, and layouts
- Develop/Contribute to construction documents and specifications that align with design intent
- Modify and update drawings throughout the design and construction process
- Support furniture specification development and coordinate with vendors
- Process shop drawings and assist during construction administration
- Support project schedules and ensure timely delivery of design documents
- Participate in vendor presentations and stay current with materials and design trends
- Build and support strong client relationships under the guidance of senior staff
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited program
- 3+ years of commercial interior design experience
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong space planning, detailing, and documentation skills
- Ability to create cohesive finish palettes and design solutions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with Lumion, Bluebeam, or Adobe Creative Suite
- LEED and/or NCIDQ accreditation (or interest in pursuing)
- Experience with furniture specification and commercial procurement
