WE CAN’T DO IT WITHOUT YOU
As a Drafter in our Architectural Millwork Production Department, you will produce mechanical shop drawings to produce custom cabinets in our shop. The Drafter works closely with project managers, the engineering manager and the production lead, to ensure final designs are accurate and submitted in a deadline driven environment.
KEYACCOUNTABILITIES
- Complete and Accurate Submittal Drawings
- Timely Work Orders and Programming
- Detailed Shop Drawings
- Effective Communication with Project Management and Shop Manager
The successful Drafter is experienced in reading and working with architectural drawings. They possess the ability to focus on drawings for extended periods of time and are highly detailed, accurate and organized. Exceptional critical thinking skills will help identify problem areas within plans and designs. Strong math and technical skills will contribute to success in this role.
- 2-year drafting certificate or equivalent
- 2+ years of architectural drafting experience
- Proficient technical and computer skills
- Auto Cad Experience
- Experience reading architectural drawings
Preferred:
- CNC programming experience
