This position is based on-site in our Minneapolis office 5 days a week. This role requires a commitment to high-quality professional design services for clients in the Workplace market sector and thrives within a client‑focused, creative design environment.
What You Will Do- Perform interior design assignments that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.
- Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), color palettes, and lighting.
- Generate floor plans, finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
- Provide design support and documentation during completion and execution of design concepts.
- Responsible for construction documentation and construction administration, supporting the delivery of the project design intent.
- Work on multiple teams and support concurrent projects in varying phases of project delivery.
- Manage external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators.
- Produce test fits and project deliverables as a self‑motivated designer with strong Revit skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited university.
- 7+ years of commercial interior design experience—ideally for Workplace, Hospitality or Mixed Use projects.
- Proficient with Revit, Sketch Up, 3D, Enscape, and other modeling software programs such as Rhino, Grasshopper, and/or Dynamo.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a must.
- Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
- Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Demonstrated commitment to resilience and sustainable building practices.
- NCIDQ certified LEED AP is preferred.
Portfolio Requirement: Please include a portfolio (ideally showcasing your experience with the aforementioned project types) along with your resume.
Base Salary Range: $72,000 to $85,000, commensurate with relevant experience. Standard benefits will be offered, and employees will be eligible for bonuses.
