We’re seeking a senior-level design and technical production professional to join our Architectural Services team this role, you’ll lead the preparation of design and construction documentation for luxury, custom single-family residences from conceptual design through construction administration. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in residential design and construction detailing, this role bridges design intent with constructible documentation, supports junior staff development, and actively contributes to the advancement of AI-assisted design workflows, visualization technologies, and project management strategies within the department.

- Lead development of design concepts from client goals through design development, and translate sketches and design intent into detailed architectural drawings.
- Produce full construction document sets (plans, elevations, sections, details); ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and construction standards.
- Coordinate and integrate structural and MEP consultant drawings into the architectural document set.
- Review and redline drawings, shop submittals, and RFIs for accuracy and constructability; maintain high-quality documentation standards with minimal revisions.
- Develop high-quality, photorealistic architectural renderings and visual presentations using AI, Enscape, and/or comparable rendering platforms.
- Utilize Enscape and AI tools to enhance visualization quality and workflow efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and trade partners throughout all phases.
- Support scheduling, milestone tracking, and document control.
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to overall team development.
- Research, identify and recommend implementation of AI and technology solutions to improve design, documentation, and visualization workflows that enhance company-wide knowledge sharing and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit; 8-10 years of progressive Revit experience, demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase residential projects in Revit.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Sketch Up, Enscape, and AutoCAD.
- Extensive knowledge and passion for single-family residential architecture – design principles, spatial planning, material selection, and architectural detailing.
- Deep familiarity and interest in residential construction methods, assemblies, and sequencing; ability to produce constructible, field-ready detailed drawings.
- Working knowledge of Minnesota building codes, residential zoning regulations, and construction compliance standards.
- Strong visualization and rendering skills; capable of producing client-ready photorealistic exterior and interior presentations.
- Demonstrated curiosity, interest, and aptitude in exploring and using emerging AI tools as it relates to design, documentation, visualization, and project management.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; collaborative team player; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
This position is full-time, on-site in Wayzata, MN.
