Job Description
Yardscapes, Inc. (51 years) is an innovative landscape design/build company seeking an experienced landscape architect or designer with 5+ years of experience to join the design team. Select candidates will design projects for high‑end residential new construction and remodeled properties.
Designs include- Driveways
- Front entries
- Patios and entertaining areas
- Outdoor kitchens
- Pools/Spa
- Plantings and perennial gardens
- Decks and pergolas
- Lighting
- Schedule on‑site client meetings and discuss designs with clients.
- Conduct site visits to manage and implement plans.
- Collaborate with architects, builders, and interior designers.
- Follow up with clients throughout the entire project.
- Hand drafting + coloring
- AutoCAD
- Plan Swift (take‑offs and estimates)
- Quick Books for creating estimates and invoicing
- Base salary: $60,000 – $150,000 per year.
- Commission on sales and project completion.
- Benefit packages including 401(k), 401(k) matching, dental insurance, health insurance, health savings account, life insurance, and paid time off.
- Full‑time, daytime shift (Monday – Friday).
Bloomington, MN 55420. Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work. Work is conducted in person.
Experience- Landscape Design: 5 years (required).
- Sales: 5 years (preferred).
Yardscapes has over 51 years of design/installation experience along with countless years of field experience, working with specialty installations. Our crews are comprised of well‑trained professionals who have worked together for years. The company focuses on custom residential outdoor spaces, combining art and science to create unique projects. Yardscapes is a member of the Minnesota Nursery & Landscape Association and has participated in Parade of Homes tours and the Midwest Home Luxury Home Tour annually.
