Job Overview

Bloom is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and client service-oriented Project Architect to join our growing architectural department. The role involves leading design and technical aspects of projects across public and private market sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Lead research on building and zoning codes and jurisdictional processes.
  • Develop solutions for design and technical challenges across multiple projects while meeting budget and schedule constraints.
  • Communicate, coordinate, and present with internal and external team members, clients, and agencies.
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Contribute to proposals and marketing activities, including research and presentations.
  • Drive business development strategy, identify opportunities, and maintain a pipeline of projects.
  • Build strategic partnerships, attend industry events, and enhance the firm’s market presence.
  • Develop drawings from conceptual to construction documents.
  • Advance project specifications and support material/product selection.
  • Participate in culture-building activities and mentor staff.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Architect or progressing toward licensure; NCARB is a plus.
  • Multidisciplinary experience in Governmental, Commercial, K‑12, Higher Education, Transit/Transportation Facilities, and Industrial sectors.
  • Strong decision‑making, communication, time‑management, leadership and client‑relations skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and other modeling/rendering software.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Team player capable of handling a full range of responsibilities.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project Management training is preferred.
  • Experience with public project delivery processes.
