As an Associate Designer – Women’s Performance, you will support Owned Brand Product Design and Development. You will work with design leaders to achieve product design strategy and merchant objectives, maintain a diligent workload, provide timely communication, support product/trend research, trend concepts, color, and design/development of products, assist in preparing product specs, develop trim, print, embellishment, and hardware packages, translate ideas using CAD/hand sketches, and collaborate with the Technical Design department.

Core responsibilities of this job include supporting product design and development, maintaining workload, and communicating with internal and external partners. (

• Four‑year degree in Design, Fine Art, or similar area of study, or equivalent experience
• 1+ year of experience
• Computer design system skills including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software
• Ability to stay aware of trends and fashion
• Understanding of textiles, garment construction/fit or raw materials & product production
• Experience assimilating product feedback
• Ability to research and apply market/trend information
• Ability to build strong partnerships to work successfully in a team environment

This position is Hybrid/Flex for Your Day, combining onsite work at Target HQ MN and virtual work depending on daily needs. Work duties cannot be performed outside the primary work location country unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
