EA Area Architect For Americas
Allianz Technology is the global IT backbone of the Allianz Group, delivering technology services across 70+ countries. As part of the EA 2.0 operating model, the Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) team is growing its presence in the Americas region.
The EA Area Architect for Americas is accountable for the product portfolio, technology landscape, and architectural direction of the Americas operating entities. This role is the single point of architectural accountability at area level - bridging enterprise strategy and local business realities, and ensuring that architectural decisions across tribes and products are coherent, forward-looking, and aligned with Allianz Group standards.
This is a high-visibility role embedded within a globally distributed EA community. The person will operate with significant autonomy, represent the Americas area in global architecture governance bodies, and act as a trusted technical advisor to both engineering and business leadership.

- Support tribes and product teams in identifying the architecture and technologies that best fit their product designs, resolving interdependencies across area boundaries
- Define and govern critical non-functional requirements (scalability, resilience, security, observability) across the area
- Drive architectural evolution of existing platforms - reducing technical debt and improving product health
