Architect / Sr. Architect, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this position is to support and lead architects through the design of small to mid sized projects, directing, supervising, and mentoring staff towards the delivery of complete and accurate design documents that meet project milestones and goals within designated time frames.
Key tasks include:
- Work in tandem with client, architects, design project manager, designers, development, construction, and consultants.
- Support and lead a team of architects and designers through the design process.
- Create a complete and thorough set of design documents to meet project goals, milestones, and schedules.
- Lead detailing efforts for a complete set of construction documents and construction phase.
- Lead design meetings, consultant meetings, and project team meetings.
- Coordinate project design schedules.
- Resolve unusual or complex technical issues.
- Research and lead code reviews and regulatory approval process.
- Manage and coordinate QA/QC process and project specifications.
- Identify and communicate deviations in project performance.
- Demonstrate high level of collaboration and set an example for others.
- Establish and pursue annual goals based on personal, professional, and company growth, ensuring project goals of design excellence, execution, and sustainability.
- Direct, supervise, and mentor junior staff.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in architecture and an architectural licensure.
- Strong knowledge of Revit, building codes, documentation, and constructability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bluebeam knowledge.
- LEED Accredited Professional and/or WELL Accredited Professional certifications.
Annual base salary ranges from $95,000 to $115,000. Additional compensation may include commission and/or an incentive program.
