Project Architect ​/ Job Captain

Project Architect (or Job Captain, if unlicensed) opening with a well-established architecture firm in Minneapolis. Permanent/Direct hire position. Available immediately.

Job Responsibilities

+ Working with a team from project inception through all phases of the project

+ Prepare design drawings, models, and/or specifications as directed by senior staff

+ Able to research and implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning, and building codes

+ Integrate architectural design and/or models with structural, mechanical and electrical systems

+ Understand and prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production

+ Participate in technical discussions with contractor, consultants, project teams, and clients

+ Coordination of the team and project through construction phase

+ Working closely with the Project Manager and team to coordinate the work effort amongst all internal and external team members

+ Delivering overall quality consistent with scope, budget and project goals

+ Actively building new and future relationships

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor of Architecture Degree, Professional Architecture Degree a plus

+ Proficiency in Revit and Blue Beam is required

+ 5-10+ years of professional experience in an architecture firm

+ Ability to both multi-task and be organized

+ A practiced communicator and presenter, able to articulate ideas

+ Strong client interface skills

+ A diverse portfolio including Industrial, Warehouse, Corporate, or other Commercial project experience

+ Detail-oriented with a strategic, big-picture perspective

+ Effective team experience working with multiple team members

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
