SJS Executives LLC is seeking a Healthcare Planner to support federal and commercial clients with the planning and design of healthcare facilities. In this role, you will lead space programming, workflow analysis, and facility planning for hospitals, clinics, and medical support spaces, ensuring compliance with FGI guidelines, federal standards, and life safety codes. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and client stakeholders to develop data-driven plans, layouts, and recommendations that improve patient flow, staff efficiency, and mission readiness in complex, mission-critical environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead healthcare facility planning and space programming for hospitals, clinics, and support areas
- Analyze clinical workflows, patient flows, and staffing models to inform design solutions
- Develop test fits, layouts, and planning diagrams using Auto
- CAD/Revit and related tools
- Ensure compliance with FGI guidelines, life safety codes, and applicable federal/Do
- D standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to align facility plans with mission and operational goals
- Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for federal and commercial clients
- Support project schedules, deliverables, and coordination with multi-disciplinary teams
- Incorporate safety, infection control, and patient-centered design principles into all planning work
