Kodet Architectural Group is a second-generation, minority-owned firm based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Our team specializes in public architecture and understands the needs of local governments, community agencies, and the people they serve.
Role:
Architect Level II (Six or more years’ experience)
- Licensed architectural staff.
- Professional degree in Architecture, plus at least six years of related experience.
- Participates in the conceptual design and provides full support throughout the entire project.
- Strong competency with Revit is required.
- Consults with Project Management, other architects/architectural staff, and consultants.
- Develops and represents lead technical viewpoint on projects.
- Coordinates with Project Management on appropriate technical solutions and product strategies.
- A background with local and state government clients is highly preferred.
- Six or more years of experience
- NAAB-accredited degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect in Minnesota
- Experience managing local government and community projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple consultants and team members within set fees and with minimal oversight
- Interest in mentoring junior staff
- Interest in building relationships and supporting business development efforts of the firm
- Ability to present information to a variety of client, team, and community audiences
- Strong proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
- Design credential(s) such as LEED, WELL, etc.
- Relationships with county, municipal, school district, and other community clients
