Position: Ophthalmology (Glaucoma) Assistant Professor
About the Job

The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Neurosciences seeks a full-time, board-certified Ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma ophthalmology. Responsibilities include clinical practice at the University of Minnesota and possibly satellite facilities. The role involves supervising, mentoring, and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, along with curriculum development. The candidate will engage in research and scholarly activities, either independently or collaboratively, and participate in faculty development tailored to career goals.

Qualifications

Requires MD degree, completion of an Ophthalmology residency, fellowship in glaucoma, board certification in Ophthalmology, and licensure or eligibility for licensure in Minnesota. Experience or interest in clinical research is preferred. The hire will be at Professor rank on the Clinician track.

Pay and Benefits
