The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) at the University of Minnesota, in partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center (an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), is seeking a visionary faculty physician with expertise in non-malignant (benign) hematology.

This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). We welcome candidates committed to shaping the future of classical hematology through exceptional patient care, innovative research, and a passion for mentorship and medical education.

Join a thriving and nationally recognized benign hematology program with nine dedicated faculty members caring for a wide spectrum of rare and complex hematologic disorders, including bleeding and clotting disorders, the Center for Red Cell Disorders, hemoglobinopathies, iron and platelet disorders, TTP,complement-mediated diseases, porphyrias, telomere biology disorders, and immunodeficiencies. Our program is home to one of the nation’s oldest and largest federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Centers.

Responsibilities    
● Deliver compassionate and expert clinical care to patients with benign hematologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings    
● Develop and/or lead clinical trials, translational studies, or lab-based investigations    
● Contribute actively to medical education and training programs across the Medical School’s learning continuum    
● Support multidisciplinary teams and advocate for growth in classical hematology services    
● Engage with institutional and national partners to advance research, care models, and population outcomes in non-malignant hematology.

*** Demonstrated excellence in clinical care of patients with benign hematologic disorders

* Evidence of research productivity or interest in developing academic focus (clinical, translational, or basic science)
