The Division of Hematology, Oncology & Transplantation (HOT) at the University of Minnesota, in partnership with the Masonic Cancer Center (an NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center), is seeking a visionary faculty physician with expertise in non-malignant (benign) hematology.

This position is available at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor on the Academic or Clinician Track (not tenure). Join a thriving and nationally recognized benign hematology program with nine dedicated faculty members caring for a wide spectrum of rare and complex hematologic disorders, including bleeding and clotting disorders, the Center for Red Cell Disorders, hemoglobinopathies, iron and platelet disorders, TTP,complement-mediated diseases, porphyrias, telomere biology disorders, and immunodeficiencies. Our program is home to one of the nation’s oldest and largest federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Centers.

Responsibilities    
● Deliver compassionate and expert clinical care to patients with benign hematologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings    
● Develop and/or lead clinical trials, translational studies, or lab-based investigations    
● Contribute actively to medical education and training programs across the Medical School’s learning continuum    
● Support multidisciplinary teams and advocate for growth in classical hematology services    
● Engage with institutional and national partners to advance research, care models, and population outcomes in non-malignant hematology.

*** Demonstrated excellence in clinical care of patients with benign hematologic disorders
* Strong teaching skills and enthusiasm for academic medicine
* Evidence of research productivity or interest in developing academic focus (clinical, translational, or basic science)
