Position Overview
The Department of Medicine at the University of Minnesota seeks an infectious disease specialist to join the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Medicine (IDIM) in the Academic Clinical emphasis track. The role focuses on exceptional clinical care, pioneering research, and comprehensive medical education.

- Inpatient and outpatient clinical care at University of Minnesota Medical Center‑Fairview.
- Staff Eastbank and Westbank consult services; see outpatients referred to the c.
- Staff inpatient telemedicine general service and antibiotic management team services.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows who rotate on the service.
- Staff the ’ clinic.
- Opportunity to establish and/or collaborate on clinical research studies in an intellectually exciting environment.
- Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS, or equivalent).
- Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine.
- Completed fellowship training (or equivalent) in Infectious Diseases.
- Ability to receive work authorization in the United States and maintain legal status in accordance with USA category requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for medical education and strong teaching skills.
- Leadership potential.
- Pay Range: $170,000 – $205,000 (combined salary from University of Minnesota and University of Minnesota Physicians).
