4th Grade Teacher at Ascension Catholic School is responsible for creating an engaging, faith-centered learning environment that lays the foundation for students' academic, spiritual, and social development. Working within our vibrant North Minneapolis community, the teacher will deliver comprehensive instruction aligned with school curriculum, Catholic values, and diocesan standards. • Plan and teach engaging lessons in core subjects (Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies) that follow diocesan guidelines and grade-level standards while weaving in Catholic values
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that celebrates diversity and helps young learners develop foundational academic, social, and spiritual skills
• Partner with families through regular communication, conferences, and updates to support student growth and build a strong school-home connection
• Assess and document student progress through developmentally appropriate methods, adjusting instruction to meet individual learning needs
• Plan and lead daily prayer, religious activities, and faith-based discussions that help students understand and embrace Catholic teachings in age-appropriate ways
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to ensure consistent educational approaches and maintain a positive school culture

$36,300 - $85,000 annually

Starting salary is determined by the candidate's teaching experience and education level

Ascension Catholic Academy follows a structured step-and-lane salary schedule similar to public school. The final compensation package will be based on verified teaching experience and educational credentials.
