* Education Requirement: diploma in aviation maintenance.
* Occupational Experience Requirement: four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in aviation maintenance.
* Recency Requirement: one year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
* Professional Requirement: FAA Airframe and Power Plant License (FAA 147 requirement)* (to be completed within first three years of employment)
Bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance, aviation management, education, or a related field. Experience teaching inFAAPart 147 programs or other formal aviationmaintenance technician training environments.
* Ability to pass a background check and be issued a contractor's T.O.C. security badge by Delta Air Lines for facility access.
* Current and former employees must be in good standing with Minneapolis College to be considered for the position.
