Science Teacher Grades 6-8

St. Charles Borromeo School is looking for a dedicated Science teacher who loves God, the Catholic faith, and science! This teacher will work with our dynamic and talented middle school team, who partner with parents in bringing out the best in our students. rles, our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who strive for excellence in faith, virtue, service, and academics.

• Provide an engaging learning environment where students understand and meet expectations
• Maintain high academic standards while challenging each student to always do their best
• Instill strong character, Catholic values, and a love for learning
• Work with students who have IEPs or need accommodations to reach their full potential
• Be committed to continually developing skills and improving as a teacher
• Partner with our parents and other staff members to ensure the success of each student
• Honor and support school initiatives, administrative decisions, the vision of our archdiocese, and the Catholic Church
• Participate as a member of the faculty team in professional development, committee responsibilities, and school initiatives
• Design engaging lessons that support and enhance our curriculum
• Form assessments that are meaningful and will demonstrate the student’s level of mastery
• Plan and lead a 5 day trip to Wolf Ridge for our 6th graders
• Take pride in their job as a Catholic school teacher
