Assistants to Infancy Montessori Guide (18-36 months) – Port Coquitlam

Lions Park Montessori is seeking a qualified AMI Assistants to Infancy Guide to lead our Toddler community (18-36 months). Nestled beside Lions Park and the Coquitlam River in beautiful Port Coquitlam, we offer a beautifully prepared, calm, bright and spacious setting.

This role is ideal for a guide who is deeply committed to the principles of the Assistants to Infancy philosophy and passionate about supporting independence, movement, and early development.

- · Guide infants and toddlers with respect for their natural rhythms, sensitive periods, and emerging independence
- · Observe children closely and use observations to inform practice and individual support
- · Support care routines as meaningful opportunities for connection
- · Build warm, professional relationships with families through clear communication and partnership
- · Collaborate with assistants and colleagues to uphold consistent Montessori practice
- · AMI Assistants to Infancy (0-3) diploma
- · B.C. Early Childhood Educator certificate and Infant/Toddler designation
- · Strong observation, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- · A calm, professional and respectful approach to working with children
- · Exceptional interpersonal, time management and leadership abilities
- · Provide the children with a prepared environment and build a sense of community with children, families and team of teachers
- · Plan individual and group activities to stimulate growth of the children in social, emotional and academic areas
- · Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- · Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
