Full-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher – near Minneapolis, MN

Lake Area Discovery Center is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to support a preschool classroom at Notre Dame Academy's Discovery Center in Minnetonka, MN
. This role works closely with the Lead Teacher and classroom team to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for preschool-aged children.

• Support the Lead Teacher in a preschool classroom
• Assist with daily activities, learning centers, and classroom routines
• Help create a positive, nurturing environment for young children
• Supervise and engage children during play, learning, and transitions
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom
• Communicate with teaching staff and support classroom planning
• Follow Minnesota DHS licensing guidelines

• Experience working with young children in childcare or early education preferred
• Coursework or training in Early Childhood Education or related field helpful
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• $18.00–$22.00 per hour
  , based on education and experience
• Year-round position (12 months)
