Reading Corps is recruiting a Reading Tutor to help students improve reading skills through 20‑minute sessions in local schools.
Core Responsibilities- Be a caring adult focused on helping students thrive.
- Lead tutoring sessions in a scheduled format to ensure consistent support.
- Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
- Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
- Commit to growth through coaching and training.
- Share experience with the community.
- Dependable with a history of good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (email, online navigation).
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the U.S.
- Ability to complete a background check.
