Position Summary:

We are currently recruiting paraprofessionals for our summer 2026 targeted services program, excit

ED! Following MN Department of Education best practices, this invitation-only program is designed to help students discover their possibilities and thrive using a blend of social emotional learning, targeted instruction in reading and math, and hands-on, project-based learning. Together, we'll create a welcoming learning community that will help students develop foundations for lasting academic and personal success.

Education and Experience Requirements:

* Associate's Degree or at least two years of post-secondary education (a minimum of 60 semester credits)

* Experience working with students

* Experience working with diverse student populations

* Strong communication skills

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range:
The wage for this position ranges from $23.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Most candidates will start at the entry-level rate of $23.00 per hour. However, candidates with prior work experience in a related field may be eligible for a starting rate of up to $23.70 per hour. For those with direct experience in this specific role, the starting rate may exceed $23.70 per hour, depending on their qualifications and experience.

These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual's experience and the school district's budget.

Benefits:
This is a temporary/seasonal position. Eligible employees will participate in the state's largest pension program, the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). Leave benefits will be applied in accordance with Minnesota law.
