• Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with state standards and school goals.
• Teach a variety of physical activities, including team sports, individual sports, fitness, and health education.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
• Create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and teamwork.
• Promote the importance of physical fitness and healthy lifestyle choices through classroom discussions and activities.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular sports programs, including practices and competitions.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and staff to integrate physical education with other subjects and promote overall student wellness.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and participation.
• Stay updated on current trends and best practices in physical education and health.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• Valid state teaching license in Physical Education.
• Strong knowledge of physical education curriculum and teaching methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and engage students of varying skill levels.
• Experience in coaching or leading sports teams is preferred.
• Commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the community.
