CompensationCompensation for in‑person and hybrid courses is determined by academic credential: $850 per credit hour for instructors with a master’s degree and $1,000 per credit hour for instructors with a doctorate. Online undergraduate and graduate courses are compensated on a prorated scale based on enrollment.

Adjunct faculty foster an engaging and inclusive learning environment, deliver curriculum effectively, assess student progress, and contribute to student success by bringing professional expertise, scholarship, and real‑world application into the classroom. This role exists to advance student learning, promote academic excellence, and uphold the values and standards of the university.

- Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field such as Education‑Mathematics (required) - Preferred:
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline - Preferred:
Previous college‑level teaching experience
- Strong knowledge of statistics and general mathematics concepts across multiple levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as a team member
- Committed to biblical integration in and out of the classroom
- Must have sensitivity and ability to successfully interact with diverse populations
- Demonstrated use of effective pedagogical practices with an ongoing willingness to grow and develop professionally
- Ability to incorporate technology and online resources into teaching
- Regular use of a personal computer (PC), learning management system (LMS), telephone, and email
- Exposure to repetitive motion of the fingers, hands, and wrists on a daily basis
- Position is located in an urban, Christ-centered environment
- Work is performed in classroom and/or virtual learning settings, with a variable schedule based on course offerings
