This is a 12‑month adjunct faculty position (not administration) in Theology at Dougherty Family College, University of St. Thomas.
Faculty will teach six 100‑level courses across Fall 2026 and Spring 2027. The fall semester schedule is:
Cohort 10 – Mondays and Thursdays 1:00–3:00 pm;
Cohort 11 – Wednesdays and Fridays 1:00–3:00 pm;
Cohort 12 – Wednesdays and Fridays 9:00–11:00 am. Spring 2027 sections will have similar dates and times.
In addition, the successful candidate will teach online courses during January and summer, for which additional compensation is provided.
Compensation and BenefitsThe compensation range is $36,000–$36,900 per year, depending on education and experience, plus health benefits.
Qualifications- Required master’s degree in theology or a closely related discipline.
- Candidates with at least one year of college teaching experience (community college teaching experience is a plus) are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated experience teaching in culturally responsive pedagogies and fostering learning communities that reflect diverse student cultures.
- Commitment to ongoing culturally responsive learning and to equity in the classroom.
