Position Overview

The Middle School Girls' Soccer Coach is responsible for supporting the success of the Middle School [SPORT] program. The Middle School Girls' Soccer Coach manages the day-to-day operations of the program while playing a key role in preparing student-athletes for the next level of their athletic journey. All coaches are required to abide by rules and regulations of the NFHS, [SSYO/OTHER ASSOCIATION] and Breck School.

Responsibilities
  • Foster a positive team culture – model teamwork, trust, inclusivity, respect and leadership; encourage sportsmanlike conduct at all times.
  • Manage and supervise practices and athletic events.
  • Work with student athletes to improve their abilities in Middle School [SPORT].
  • Partner with coaching staff to provide unity across all levels and teams.
  • Encourage and support multi-sport athletes within Breck.
Qualifications
  • Prior playing or coaching experience Girls' Soccer (at the Middle School or High School is preferred).
  • Ability to work effectively and positively with adolescent athletes.
  • Knowledge of Girl's Soccer fundamentals and effective coaching techniques and skills, of Middle School Girls' Soccer.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with school administrators, opponents, staff, parents, and athletes.
  • Exhibits professionalism, organizational, communication, delegation, and interpersonal skills.
