Qualifications
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player with students and staff.
  • Ability to work with and motivate students.
  • Familiarity with district student rights and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of child development.
  • Prior experience with behavior management in a school setting.
  • Ability to hold high expectations while maintaining a student-centered approach.
  • A commitment to equitable educational outcomes for all students.
  • Values a team-based, problem‑solving, solution‑oriented, skills‑building process.
  • A high degree of patience and flexibility.
  • Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed staff with crisis intervention as directed.
  • Background or experience in working with students on conflict resolution.
  • Ability to relate well to students, staff and parents.
  • Monitor/manage students needing behavior support.
  • Confidentiality and respectful rapport with parents and staff.
  • Record keeping of student behaviors.
  • Be fair and consistent in following district discipline policy and student behavior plans.
  • Other duties as assigned by principal.

Compensation / Benefits

RAVE Clerical Association – Wage Group V: $22.01 - $24.69 Hourly – According to contractual agreement (based on 2026-27 contract).
