The Administrative TOSA will work directly with building administration to coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate tier one, two, and three instruction and tasks related to the School Improvement Plan (SIP) that will lead to accelerated academic achievement for students.
Create a safe school environment that promotes equity, high expectations for all, and authentic engagement with diverse stakeholder groups.- Collaborate to plan and facilitate family engagement events
- Create a family engagement plan in collaboration with students, staff, and families
- Participate in building managerial duties such as emergency drills, student supervision, and behavior management
- Focus on student academic achievement through support of mentorship groups, student activities, and data meetings
- Engage with lunch processes
- Collaborate with building teams around systems development and implementation.
- Collaborate with building teams around academic programming needs in the building; this team will also plan and lead staff professional development throughout the year.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to increase student attendance
- Complete teacher observations and engage in mentoring teachers
- Regularly uses data and assessment to monitor progress toward goals and strategically adjust practice
- Create effective systems and processes to ensure staff and students have the support needed to succeed
- Solicit and receive feedback from all stakeholders
- Engage in other work supportive of making gains toward goals.
- Develop and implement a shared vision for equitable results; set aligned, ambitious short- and long-term goals
- Engage in leadership activities, such as with the Instructional Leadership Team
- Engage in the implementation of school-wide Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
- Organize and schedule time in alignment with instructional goals
Valid Minnesota Teaching License
K-12 Administrative License a Plus
