Early Childhood Education Support Professional (Paraprofessional)

Stewartville School District and Stewartville Community Education are seeking to hire Early Childhood Education Support Professionals to begin August 2026. Under the direction of a building administrator and guidance of licensed staff, the early childhood education support professionals will support staff and students in classroom routines and developmentally appropriate student tasks.
Qualifications/Degree:
High School Diploma/GED Previous experience working with children preferred 2-year degree or a passing score on the Para Pro test preferred

Job Requirements:
Position requires the ability to run, bend, stoop, kneel, work on feet, lift up to 40 lbs for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations Position involves listening, speaking clearly, and visual acuity
Beginning Salary Range:
Rate of pay starting at $15.50/hour as per Master Agreement. The starting rate of pay is dependent upon prior experience.
