Key Responsibilities:- Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings.
- Provide individualized or small‑group assistance as guided by teaching staff.
- Help students with daily routines, transitions, and active classroom participation.
- Implement behavior support strategies and follow individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Assist with student mobility, supervision, and personal care needs as required.
- Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to meet school compliance, including TB testing and background clearances (current or willing to obtain).
- Capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting.
- Experience in educational, behavioral health, special education, or childcare settings.
- Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
- CPI, PMT, or RBT certification a plus (not mandatory).
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach.
