American Indian Education Coordinator

The American Indian Education Coordinator plays a vital role in advancing our mission by supporting American Indian students and families. You will provide culturally responsive education, academic and career guidance, and cultural activities.
Key Responsibilities- Student Support:
Provide academic, career, and cultural guidance to students. - Community Engagement:
Foster partnerships and facilitate advisory committees to engage families. - Staff Development:
Support district staff with training and resources on culturally responsive practices. - Program Management:
Oversee grants and ensure effective collaboration with American Indian communities.
Required
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience.
- Effective communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology for learning opportunities.
- Ability to maintain professional composure in varied situations.

Candidates fluent in multiple languages and those with deep experience serving racially, ethnically, and linguistically diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Salary Range: $62,952 – $74,702
The salary for this position depends on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the salary range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate, up to the maximum of the salary range. Salary decisions will be made on a case‑by‑case basis, considering the individual's experience and the district's budget.
