Summer Day Camp Program Supervisor

Primary Objective of Positions:
To plan, implement, and supervise theme-based summer day camp program for middle school children. To ensure a safe and fun atmosphere for all participants.

Assignment: 30 - 40 hours/week, July 17, 2026 - August 19, 2026 Wage: $24/hr rates can be found in Appendix

C. Not medical or dental benefit eligible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help plan enriching curriculum and program goals for 10 one-week camp programs
• Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities consistent with class goals
• Manage classroom, outdoor activities, and field trips; supervise and provide guidance for participants
• Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Responsible for camp cell phone and purchase card

Job Qualifications:

• B.A. or B.S. degree in education, child development, recreation, or a related field; teaching license preferred
• Evidence of successful experience working with middle school aged students
• Evidence of successful program leadership
• Evidence of positive interpersonal skills; ability to relate well to children and adults
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
• Proven record of punctuality and responsibility
