Compensation: $48 per hour

ELS Minneapolis – ELS Language Center is seeking a Certified IELTS Examiner to conduct one-to-one interviews with IELTS candidates to assess their spoken English according to set requirements.

• Examine test takers on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Maintain confidentiality and security in all aspects of IELTS.
• Comply fully with the Examiner Code of Practice and IELTS Confidentiality Undertaking.
• Undertake scheduled standardization training and re-certification.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Familiarity with the IELTS examinations is an asset.
• Excellent customer services skill.
• Ability to exercise judgment in varying situations involving stressed candidates.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Must be team-oriented.
• Strong interpersonal skills and time management needed.

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent (minimum three years of full-time academic study, or one year full-time for a Master’s), or a full DELTA.
• A recognized TEFL/TESOL qualification, relevant EFL/ESOL studies, or a degree in Education with a focus on English.

• The hourly rate for this position is $48.00 per hour.
