Wayzata Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for the Extended School Year. Positions are available at various locations and schedules:
- Early Learning School:
July 8-July 31, Tuesday-Thursday, 9:00am-11:30am or 9:00am-12:00pm (12 days of instruction) - Plymouth Creek Elementary School:
July 7-July 31, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-11:30 am (16 days of instruction) - Central Middle School:
July 7-July 31, Monday-Thursday 9:30am-12:30pm (16 days of instruction) - Wayzata High School:
July 7-July 31, Monday-Thursday 12:30pm-3:30pm (16 days of instruction) - Wayzata Transition School:
July 7-July 31, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-11:30 am (16 days of instruction)

Position
Description:
Assist Special Education Licensed Staff with academic adaptations, self-care and social/behavioral needs for students in special education. This support may be provided in the general education classroom, special education classroom or community.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required. Highly Qualified Status Required. Preference for 2 year post-secondary training.
- Must be flexible and willing to work in a variety of settings with a variety of students and staff.
- May need to lift, pull and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to assist in the eating and toileting needs of students.
- Must maintain data privacy and confidentiality for all students.
- Computer skills preferred.
