Job DescriptionThe Department of Business and Economics seeks adjunct faculty to teach Marketing courses, ranging from Principles to International Marketing. This position establishes a pool of instructors, with selections occurring on an as‑needed basis throughout the year.
Responsibilities- Teach assigned courses, including appropriate classroom instruction, construction of assignments, grading, and holding office hours.
- Maintain regular communication with students via email and other channels, providing support and feedback.
- Facilitate orientation sessions one week before classes begin.
- Use the provided syllabus, textbook, and shared office space for course delivery.
- Commit to inclusive teaching practices and demonstrate intercultural competence.
- Allocate roughly 12–15 hours per week for each course.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Marketing or a related field.
- Understanding of current developments in marketing and practical experience in the field.
- Ability to engage a diverse student body.
- Prior teaching experience at the university level.
- Covered by the collective bargaining agreement with SEIU, Local 284.
- $5,800 to $6,175 per undergraduate course for the 2025‑26 academic year.
- Eligible for a 2–4% retirement contribution match.

- Applicants must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin; this requirement applies even to online courses.
