Class III starting at $22.86/hour
* Pay based on experience and education
Hours:
6.2 hours per day
5 Days a week
180 days per year
Required
Education:
High School Diploma
Preferred:
Two years post secondary education
* Passing score on the Para Pro Test is equivalent
Preferred Experience:
* Previous experience working with high school students in an educational setting
* Experience with Google Docs, Forms, and Spreadsheets
* High School student relationship building, conflict resolution, and restorative practice skills in a diverse setting
Responsibilities:
* Check and connect with students on an ongoing basis. Provide ongoing student support
* Monitor progress within all classes
* Communicate and collaborate with counselors and student support team
* Collaborate with Deans and Counselors on attendance
* Maintain a communication and progress log documenting interventions and supports
* Support and monitor students academically in a classroom setting
* Attend staff meetings and intervention meetings
* Potential student transportation support (willing and able to get van licensed through the district)
