The Institute for Global Studies (IGS) in the College of Liberal Arts at the University of Minnesota occasionally hires part-time teaching specialists and lecturers to teach undergraduate courses. These instructional appointments are temporary, often one semester or one academic year, and typically involve no more than one three-credit course per semester.
