Position: K-5 Title 1 Math & Reading Interventionist

Full Time

This position is for the 2026‑2027 school year.

Hope Academy, a private, Christ‑centered school in Minneapolis, is seeking a passionate, faith‑filled Math & Reading Interventionist to provide support and instruction to students who are struggling. This is a federally funded position.

Job Details

  • Title:

    K‑5 Math & Reading Interventionist, Title I
  • School year: 2026‑27
  • Hours:

    22 hours/week, Monday‑Thursday, 9:45 a.m.–3:15 p.m.
  • Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience.
  • Benefits:
    Eligible for health benefits.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier II small‑group instruction to students identified as at‑risk for reading and math.
  • Use evidence‑based strategies and interventions to support student learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure students receive necessary support.
  • Attend Title I staff meetings, data meetings, and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS or BA in Education with licensure that includes K‑5.
  • Valid teaching license in good standing.
  • Training in intervention methods such as Orton‑Gillingham and/or Lindamood‑Bell strongly preferred; certification evidence required.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
