About the Job
Full-time lecturers will teach three courses per semester. Partial appointments with correspondingly reduced teaching loads are also possible. Course assignments may range from lower division undergraduate courses to upper division courses primarily taken by math majors.
Responsibilities- Serve as instructor of record for mathematics undergraduate or graduate-level courses per academic year;
- Prepare course materials including syllabus;
- Deliver course content;
- Respond to student inquiries via email, phone, or in person;
- Grade all student materials including exams, papers, presentations and final exams;
- Submit final grades;
- Courses may be offered online or in person
- PhD degree in the mathematical sciences or a related field
- Experience serving as the instructor of record for university-level undergraduate or graduate math courses
Fixed Pay Rate: $12,000 per course
Time Appointment: 100% Appointment
