Position Title:
All Day Preschool Assistant Teacher
FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt
Hours:
12:30 - 5:30pm Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, subbing as interested/available 12-month position
Start Date:
August 24, 2026
Job Summary:
The All Day Preschool Assistant Teacher is responsible for working with a group of children aged 3-5 years, implementing age-appropriate activities, and fostering positive relationships with children, coworkers, and parents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with a group of young children aged 3-5 years.
- Implement activities that promote social and cognitive development.
- Collaborate effectively with team members.
- Develop positive relationships with children, coworkers, and parents.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Experience:
Experience working with preschool-aged children in education, recreation, or related fields is preferred. - Strong communication skills and flexibility.
- Understanding of cultural competency and child development.
Salary:
Range: $18.41-$20.19 per hour Salary placement is based on experience and education level, as per district guidelines.
